Shopping on James Denver

  • You can order items displayed on this website by using the on-line shopping facility provided.
  • Once an order is placed using the on-line shopping facility you will receive an e-mail confirmation automatically (please do not respond to this unless any of the details are incorrect). The fact that you have received an e-mail notification does not mean that we will be able to fulfill your order.
  • If for any reason we are not able to
    fulfill your order we will contact you at the earliest possible opportunity to advise you of this. At this point you have the right to change or cancel your order. Any payments made or due will be adjusted or refunded to account for any changes or refunds as the circumstances dictate.
    Jamesdenver.co.uk does not sell from high street retail units. We are therefore unable to offer a product viewing or collection service from our premises. Nationwide delivery is achieved through our national delivery depot network.

Prices

  • Our current prices are as displayed on the website
    and are in GB pounds sterling.
    We will endeavour to ensure that the prices shown on this website are correct.  If for any reason the price(s) of any item(s) are incorrect at the time you place an order with us, we will contact you at the earliest possible opportunity to advise you of this.  At this point you have the right to change or cancel your order.  Any payments made or due will be adjusted or refunded to account for any changes or refunds as the circumstances dictate.
    Our stated delivery pricing covers mainland UK delivery addresses only(excluding certain Scottish Highland, Island & Channel post codes), if in doubt please email delivery@jamesdenver.co.uk
    All prices are inclusive of VAT charged at the current rate.

Payments

  • You have three principal methods of payment (all payments to be made in GB pounds sterling): 
    Online SSL shopping basket checkout - Please note that the address your goods will be shipped to will be the cardholder statement address unless you inform us otherwise in writing by email delivery@jamesdenver.co.uk Please also email us with any additional instructions relevant to your purchase.
  • All payments are validated by Worldpay's secure server gateway. Your credit card details are not stored or processed on our site.
  • You can pay for your goods by Post. 
    Simply send your payment by Bankers draft or Postal orders using the middle button 'Print for Posting' on the shopping basket to print out your requirements, together with a covering note stating clearly your name and full postal address (inc Post Code) to: A S.c Ltd, c/o James Denver 156-158 Drummond Road, Skegness, Lincs, PE25 3EX.
    Postal and other orders payable to: A S.c Limited. 
  • You can use our telephone credit / debit card line between 8am and 5pm on 0870 446 0595. We accept Visa, Master Card, Switch, Solo, Visa Electron, Maestro, American Express and JCB cards
    • All Credit / Debit card transactions are validated via our secure merchant terminal; your details are never disclosed to any third party or recorded on any database.
  • Our Worldpay gateway is now live. Please note that the address your goods will be shipped to will be the cardholder statement address UNLESS you inform us otherwise by email. Please also email us with any additional instructions e.g 'Please send item in silver rather than black' quoting your worldpay reference.
  • All payments are validated by Worldpay's secure server gateway. Your credit card details are not stored or processed on our site. 

REFUNDS 

  • Refunds where necessary will be made in line with statutory requirements and as detailed in our returns section.

Delivery Of Goods Terms and Conditions

Please read our Delivery of Goods Terms & Conditions set out below.
By ordering from www.jamesdenver.co.uk for Home or Business Delivery of goods either online via post or telephone you will be agreeing to them when placing your order -

  • We will endeavour to deliver your goods as soon as possible and will try to meet delivery instructions.
  • We will make every effort to deliver your goods within the time stated on our website (3-5 working days) but we will not be liable for any loss caused to you by late delivery.
  • Next day delivery with insurance is available on request for certain items. Please email delivery@jamesdenver.co.uk
  • Mainland Britain post codes (apart from Highland, Island & Channel post codes) are covered by our inclusive P&P pricing for standard delivery, however please email delivery@jamesdenver.co.uk if outside these areas. (e.g. NI, Scottish Islands, Channel Islands etc)
  • For non-UK shipping addresses please email delivery@jamesdenver.co.uk 
  • "DAMAGE or FAULT" reports must be logged via email to claims@jamesdenver.co.uk within 24hrs of receipt of goods. We cannot deal with damage or fault reports via telephone.  
  • Upon receipt of your parcel/s it is 'crucial' that you check for visible box or container damage in the presence of the delivery driver. Our courier operate a policy under Home Delivery that allows for parcels to be checked in the presence of the driver prior to signing.
  • If for what ever reason the driver is unhappy to wait a reasonable amount of time while this process is carried out you must state & sign the drivers consignment sheet as damaged if parcels have visible box/container marks or damage.
  • If your parcel has noticeable damage on delivery, you must sign the drivers consignment sheet as DAMAGED without exception & check the contents in the presence of your delivery driver if you wish to accept the item. If the item itself is damaged upon inspection you must refuse the delivery marked DAMAGED & REFUSED to be returned to us.
  • If your delivery driver is not happy for you to check the contents of a damaged parcel in his or her presence, YOU MUST refuse the delivery & mark the consignment sheet as DAMAGED & REFUSED
  • If our courier receives a clean signature for your parcels & you later report damage of goods to us, we will not be able to process any INCLUSIVE claim for any reason.
  • If you sign for the amount of parcels shown on the delivery consignment sheet, but later report that they were not delivered, we will not be able to process any claim for the missing item for any reason.
  • If you have not received your item/s within the stated delivery period, you must notify us, no later than the 5th working day so that investigations can be carried out.
  • If our courier has attempted to deliver your item and has left a card you must contact your local courier depot directly immediately to instruct for redelivery. If items are returned to us due to non communication with you, additional shipping charges will be payable.
  • If a third party recipient or address accepts goods on behalf of the registered purchaser, the above Terms & Conditions still apply.         

Return of Goods

  • We believe that you will be delighted with your goods, however, in the event of you feeling that it is necessary to return the goods we will keep the process as simple and professional as possible.
  • You should return your goods in their original condition and packaging to James Denver.co.uk,156-158 Drummond Road, Skegness, Lincs, PE25 3EX within 5 working days of receipt of goods. You will be responsible for the goods until they reach us, so it is our recommendation that you use a secure delivery method which requires a signature on delivery. Please Note that if you fail to take reasonable care of the goods James Denver reserves the right to refuse return.
  • If you return goods to us in their original condition within 7 working days we will refund you for the full amount paid for the goods only, within 30 days of the goods arriving with us.
  • You will be responsible for the original delivery to you and the return postage.
  • By law, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase of an item within seven working days of the day after the date the item is delivered to you. 
  • Please note that you will be responsible for the costs of returning the goods to us unless we delivered the item to you in error, or if the item is faulty. If we do not receive the item back from you with the delivery slip, we may arrange for collection of the item from your residence at your cost.
  • You should be aware that once we begin the delivery process you will not be able to cancel any contract you have with us for additional services carried out by us (eg: giftwrapping).

Customer Services

  • In the first instance please contact us
    by email at customerservices@jamesdenver.co.uk stating clearly the nature of your query.
    Your query will be dealt with within 24 hours by one of the Customer Services Team.
    If for any reason a decision cannot be made within 24 hours, we will investigate your query thoroughly and keep you updated as to its progress.
    If we find that your query is not valid you will be contacted stating the reasons for our findings.
    If you are still unhappy with the outcome at this stage you have the right to take your case to a suitable arbitration service.

Our responsibility to you

  • We will not be responsible for any losses resulting from your use or the inability to use our website or resulting from unauthorised access to, or alteration of your transmissions or data in circumstances which are beyond our control.
  • We will not be responsible for your loss of profits, wasted expenditure, corruption or destruction of data or any other loss which does not directly result from something we have done wrong.
  • You will be responsible if you use this website in breach of these terms of use and will reimburse us for any loss that you cause to us as a result of your misuse.
  • We make no promise that our website will be uninterrupted or entirely error free. Because of the nature of the Internet, the shopping online service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We are not responsible to you if we are unable to provide our Internet services for any reason beyond our control.
